Beetles

The beetle order, coleoptera, has more species than any other order of animal, and more species are being discovered every day. A beetle can be identified by a bodyline that extends across the center of its body, dividing it in half. These halves are its hard outer wings, which cover folded soft wings. Most beetles are not considered harmful pests, although there are a few, like the Boll Weevil, that cause agricultural damage.
