Pill Bug

The Pill Bug is actually NOT an insect, but rather an isopod, a terrestrial crustacean. Commonly called Roly Polies, they’re often played with by children who find them rolled in a ball for protection. They are a part of the wood lice family and they eat feces, mold, and dying plant debris. Pill Bugs can be found in moist areas such as soil, under dying leaves, rocks or dead logs.
