Chipmunks

Chipmunks are omnivorous rodents that eat seeds, nuts and insects as well as plant material and fungi. They dig expansive and invasive burrows and can destroy lawns and gardens. Chipmunks are considered important to the environment as they play a crucial role in seed dispersal and they consume fungi. They are characterized by their small striped reddish brown bodies and not so bushy tail.
